Bright, canary yellow with raspberry-red
eye and heavily ruffled raspberry-red edge. Nicknamed "Pikachu", because
the colors reminded my nephew of his favorite Pokemon character, the seedlings
from this 2004 introduction have clear colors with eyes and edges in almost
every shade imaginable ranging from orange to red, pink and purple. Fragrant
with 3 to 4-way branching and 18 or more buds. Fertile both ways and a
wonderful parent for eyes and edges. Always popular with garden visitors
and parent of several future introductions.
